This painting was part of a 4 edition limited series of Robocop from Marvel Comics.
This painting was done by John Rheaume who is also known for painting the covers for Hellraiser and Nightbreed for Marvel Comics. This was one of the first paintings I ever bought for my collection. I purchased it in New York City at the very first Comicon I ever went to from Robert Rogovin of Four Color Comics when I literally wandered in off the street on a Saturday afternoon when I had nothing else to do that day. Look at all the trouble and money it cost me. John Rheaume has also created various artworks for Topps Trading Card Company including a very unique painting of Yoda for the Star Wars Galaxy Series and has worked on Conan The Barbarian and Alien Legion.
