Date on the box is June 7, 1985. On the back of the box it says, "Congratulations to Vanessa Williams, Miss America 1984. Through the issuance of this special edition package, Kellogg Company gives recognition to Vanessa Williams for her achievement in having been selected Miss America 1984. It is with this intent that Kellogg Company provides this limited editon Commemorative Package as a lasting reminder that America remains the land of opportunity for all people, that we must continue to promote the American dream and encourage all Americans to freely pursue life, liberty, and happiness. Kellogg Company, Battle Creek, Michigan." This cereal box is significant because Vanessa Williams was the first black Miss America but was stripped of her throne due to a pictorial in Penthouse Magazine because she was a naughty girl.
